I am so excited to meet Danielle and the other girls! Also, maybe I can get Danielle to call my grandma and tell her about this award. My grandma is the cutest lady in the world, but she tells people that I have no sense of humor — while I am sitting right there. “My grandson Matthew is so  funny, he makes all of us laugh! Oh, how he makes us laugh. But my granddaughter Dori…she just has no sense of humor.” I have to respond with, “Grandma, I am sitting right next to you — I can hear you.”

Of course, this story makes my brother, my mom, Mallories and I laugh every time we mention it. So at least something good came from my complete lack of humor.
